If you follow me on Facebook, you've probably noticed the three new covers I got this week. For those of you who don't check Facebook, here they are!
Ge-Mi was one of the rare stories that I actually knew what I wanted on the cover. Most of the time I have absolutely zero idea and I hem and haw and generally drive LT3 and the artist crazy. Ge-Mi was the exact opposite. The image of Nevada, the main character, naked with his back to the viewer and his tail curled to hide his modesty was one that stuck with me from the first moment I started writing this story. Of course, I probably drove everyone equally crazy by being too precise in what I wanted, but I'm really happy with how the cover turned out.
The Case of the Wandering Wolves is one of my older stories. I started writing it about the same time as my Dragon's Hoard series (this was late 2011), but I hit a roadblock and wasn't able to finish it. Luckily, that road block recently cleared up and Wandering Wolves was completed. It's the start of what I'm hoping will be a fun series that's more lighthearted romance than what I usually write. The cover definitely reflects that, in my opinion.
The Case of the Wandering Wolves comes out on January 11, 2017, but is already available for pre-order from LT3 for a 15% discount. Get your copy today: https://lessthanthreepress.com/books/...
Dragon Soldier is the second half of Nickel's story that began in Dragon Detective and it also concludes the first arc of the series. I had some second thoughts when I was thinking about what to do for the cover for Dragon Soldier. The story is about Nickel and Platinum, yet every time I reread the book one of my favorite scenes was one where Chrome and 'Ron knock down a tree in Dane's backyard. I liked the scene and the idea for the cover so much--and I know I won't be writing a book with Chrome and 'Ron as the main characters--that highlighting them here just worked for me. Let me know what you think!
Dragon Soldier comes out on April 5, 2017. I'll let you know when it becomes available for pre-order. Be sure to read Dragon Detective first, which is available right now.
The covers for Elemental Ride and Ner Li, two of my upcoming books, arrived a few weeks ago. Since those books will be coming out soon, I thought I should actually share the covers. They're both absolutely beautiful!
I have two beautiful covers to share from my Supernatural Consultant series and a potential release date for Dragon Detective. Scroll down to read all the information.
Supernatural Consultant: Volume One
Print Compilation of Dragon Consultant, Dragon Deception, and Dragon Dilemma.
Will be released approximately June 1, 2016.
Supernatural Consultant Book Four
October 19, 2016
Nickel might be a water elemental dragon, but even he has to draw the line somewhere. The sudden rain storms, hail, and even snow in mid-summer are going to drive him mad. Luckily, he works for Dane's Supernatural Consulting firm and can use those resources to figure out who keeps mucking with the weather and get them to stop.
It doesn't take long for Nickel to realize he isn't the only one searching for the weather worker. The enemy he has been hunting for ten years has finally reappeared. Nickel isn't certain he can win the race to find the weather worker or if he'll even survive the attempt, but in order to save the dragons he knows he has to try.
Dragon Dilemma is book three of my Supernatural Consultant Series. This is probably my favorite cover yet for the series. It's so bright and vibrant, which echoes the kits perfectly, yet doesn't hide the destruction they are so capable of. Dilemma comes out on June 1, 2016. It should be available for preorder soon. I will keep my blog and twitter feed updated with news as this story comes closer to being published.
