News: Writing Successes

• So far this month has been all about writing successes.  I've been making so much progress with my goals and I really hope I don't hit a wall.  Knock on wood!  I've already submitted The Oracle's Sprite to LT3, which is one big check mark in my goal's list.  I've also spoken with my beta reader about Thunderbird and the news is still very positive.  I should have it back by the end of the week and will have it submitted to LT3 by the end of the month. 
  
  
• I have also gotten a lot of writing done.  Dragon Detective is growing steadily.  I've almost reached 10k words, which isn't quite the halfway point.  I had to pause so I can work out how the next few scenes are going to play, but I could potentially have the story completely written this month.  That's amazing to me as it might be the shortest time it's ever taken me to put an entire story together.  It's such a fun series to write, especially since the dragons are adorably engaging.  I'm looking forward to polishing and submitting Dragon Consultant (book one) and getting it off to LT3 so all of my readers can learn to love the dragons as much as I do. 
  
  
• I have also made a ton of progress writing Ground of Insurrection.  The entire story is planned out at this point so it's only a matter of putting it onto paper.  I just finished writing the climax of the story so all that's left is to tie it up in a pretty bow.  It's sitting at 19k words right now and I don't foresee it growing beyond another 3k.  That's how close I am to finishing and I don't see why I can't have it done by the end of this week. 
  
  
• As you can tell, I'm already working on a lot.  Once GoI is finished I'm hoping to pick Kelpie Blue back up.  I'd like to add another 10k to that story this month as well.  I also have a lot of research for Justified that I still need to compile and I'm hoping to work on that too.  My busy month of writing will hopefully continue to grow!
