I Have News...

...and it is good! 

Ge-Mi has been accepted for publishing at NineStar Press.  I submitted Part One to them as a sample of my work, and they agreed to take it on, so I went ahead and submitted Part Two, which they also accepted. 

NineStar appears to be a small, author driven press much like LT3.  I'm excited to see where we go together and how I can grow as a writer working with them.  Feel free to check them out and see for yourselves: https://ninestarpress.com/

What does this mean:

• For the rest of my older stories: I'm not sure yet.  I also sent Dragon Consultant to NineStar, but have not yet heard back.  I would like to have the entire Supernatural Consultant series available to readers, but 6+ books is a lot to ask them to take on.  I have not inquired about any of my other stories just yet.  I do know this will be a slow process.  NineStar will, understandably, want to put each story through their own editing and formatting process.  That takes time.  I will keep everyone informed as I learn more. 
  
  
• For my future stories: Ge-Mi: Part Two was accepted, so I know it will be possible to get new material published.  The problem here is most of my new material is part of a previously published series.  I would prefer to have the rest of the series available for new readers prior to publishing anything new.  With Ge-Mi, it worked out as NineStar were more than willing to take it on.  I don't know what will happen with anything else.  Next on my list to inquire about is my Wizard Wars series as I know many readers were anxiously awaiting Ground of Resurrection.  We'll all have to see how it goes. 
  
  
• For other future stories: I did have plans to write a number of stories that are not affiliated with a series.  Wounded Alpha was one of them.  Unfortunately, I think most of these unaffiliated stories will have to wait.  I want to work on getting as many of my old stories back up first, and to pepper in a few of the newer books in those series along the way.  That said, I don't think it's fair to NineStar if they only have access to my old stories.  Sending them new material to work with is only fair, so I can see sending them Wounded Alpha in the near future. 

Basically, what it all boils down to is it's going to take time.  I don't know how much time.  I also don't know if any of my really old works (ie. The Dragon's Hoard) will ever be reprinted.  What I do know is NineStar Press appears to be a good fit for my work and I'm looking forward to working with them.
